CONSTELLATION BIG BAND
Co-led by Eckstein, drummer Jared Decker, and vocalist Allison Spann, the Constellation Big Band is a dynamic jazz orchestra made up of the finest young musicians in the Greater NYC area. From New Orleans Boogaloo, to Sassy Shuffle, and even ambient Folk, the band can tackle a variety of jazz styles, with all original compositions and arrangements written by Eckstein and Decker. Most recently performing at Crossroads in Garwood NJ, the Constellation Big Band is excited to bring their music on for future opportunities. THE BOPTET
The Boptet is the Northeast’s premier Hard Bop sextet. Led by Caleb, this group is modeled after the late 50’s and early 60’s legendary hard bop bands, in particular Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers, The Benny Golson Jazztet, and the bands of Horace Silver. The Band also performs original compositions by Eckstein, connecting the tradition of Hard Bopt to the present. The group has performed at venues such as Chris’s Jazz Cafe, Clement’s Place, Salon 33, and the East Brunswick Community Arts Center. Check out one of our recent performances from Chris’s!
THE BUTTER TRIO
Looking for the perfect mellow jazz trio for your venue or event? Look for none other than the Butter Trio! The instrumentation of upright bass, rhodes/guitar, and trombone provides the buttery smooth sounds for your cocktail hour, restaurant, or private event.
